| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Holmes Trail in Shoshone County, Idaho is a perfect place for getting out. Holmes Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking it is great fun any time. Hiking trails are all over the Bitterroot Range, it's a great hiking area.
A journey to Italian Gulch is always fun, and Montgomery Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Yeah, come up here to the Bitterroot Range for a nice time. Elk Creek is near Holmes Trail and is always a bliss to visit. There's so much to do here at Holmes |

If you are in Idaho during hiking season you have to go hiking. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Holmes Trail. When the night sets in temperatures dip down
| into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Holmes Trail plunge into the 20's. Holmes Trail gets a normal amount of rainfall; through the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
