  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Iron Mountain Trail in Boundary County, Idaho is just the place. A visit to Idaho is not complete without some hiking. Camping at Iron Mountain Trail is perfect fun, Smith Lake Campground is a perfect local campground, and there are some good whitewater spots on Moyie River.
Summertime highs at Iron Mountain Trail typically tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's while
    the cold winter nights at Iron Mountain Trail are in the 20's. This river is so great. If you came for an overnight stay Bonners Ferry Resort is a nice location to camp. Not much precipitation falls here at Iron Mountain Trail; November is the month that gets the most rain, and
July is the month with the least moisture.
Getting to Middle Fork Boulder Creek from Iron Mountain Trail is uncomplicated; if you come at the right time of year, Kootenai offers some brilliant whitewater.
