Many miles from the nearest city you have Leonia Trail and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. At Leonia Trail during the summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Leonia Trail. McGinty Creek is a nice place to check out, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater |
paddling on Moyie River.
A good site to camp here at Leonia Trail is Meadow Creek Campground; Kootenai is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Leonia Trail is pretty dry commonly; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is regularly the driest

Camping at Twin Rivers Canyon Resort is always a splendid experience, and why not a little side trip to East Fork Boulder Creek. | |
