This river is so perfect. For the period of the summer months highs here at Monumental Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops
| down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Monumental Trail tend to be in the 10's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rules! There are some perfect whitewater spots on Deadwood River; why not camp at Fir Springs Campground since you're here at Monumental Trail.
