St. Joe National Forest is too tremendous to leave out. Some close by water includes Rutledge Creek, and there's whitewater on St. Joe River - Slate Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Camping at Twin Creek Campground is always a fine experience. There are some good whitewater spots on Clearwater River - Little North Fork, and Mowich Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. And that's not all you can do here at Old Montana Trail.
