location for that. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Salmon River Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
There's some flowing water close by, Morehead Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Prospect Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Velvet Falls Campground. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Prospect Creek Trail reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter
 
are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Prospect Creek Trail tend to be in the 10's.
