| | While visiting this area in Idaho it's a good idea to go hiking too. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Gem County of Idaho, Recompense Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Recompense Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Through the warmest time of the year at Recompense Trail temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Recompense Trail overnight |

low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Not much rainfall falls here at Recompense Trail; through November this area sees the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Recompense Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hollywood
| Point Campground is a wonderful place for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River. You can take a little visit to Hidden Lake Dam since you're here at Recompense Trail. Hiking trails are all over the Salmon River Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. This site, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Recompense Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Sage Hen Campground is a glorious local campground; if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - North Fork offers some tremendous whitewater.
