| | In the Clearwater Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Reed Bar Trail in Idaho County, Idaho is a good choice. Reed Bar Trail is a very long way away from civilization and it's one of those places where hiking is great.
For the duration of the summer months highs here at Reed Bar Trail get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come |

with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Reed Bar Trail temperatures fall to the 20's. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Clearwater River - Middle Fork; Lower Twentymile Meadows is a great site. Reed Bar Trail gets very little rainfall; May is the wettest
| month with most rain while July is mostly the driest month.
Why not camp at Rainy Day Point Campground if you're here at Reed Bar Trail; unsurprisingly Droogs Creek flows through this neighborhood. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Clearwater Mountains. Sourdough Saddle Campground is a delightful local campground; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clearwater River - South Fork.
