  Far from civilization you find Roaring River Trail and it is a good trail. Middle Fork Roaring River is a delightful local stream; swing by Scotch Creek it's a magnificent location to stop at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Roaring River Trail has to offer, you can camp at Little Trinity Lake Campground; whitewater paddling is splendid on Sheep Creek.
Stay the night at Little Roaring River Lake Campground; Boise River - North Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by.
Roaring River Trail is a good location of normal
    rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here; July meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the summertime months at Roaring River Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Roaring River Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
