| | Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Sheep Trail in Adams County, Idaho is just the place. Hiking in Idaho is such a great thing to do. In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Camping is available at Poison Creek Campground. Around Sheep Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with |
the least amount of precipitation. Because Sheep Trail is very far from civilization it is a great escape from the city. The warmest time of the year at Sheep Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 40's.
| | During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sheep Trail are in the 0's. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people, and if you came for an overnight stay Cabin Creek Campground is a great spot to camp. | |
