High temperatures at Shertz Trail all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kootenai, and Island View Trailer Resort is a delightful campground nearby. Around Shertz Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; November is the wettest month |
with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Drift down the rapids of Pack River in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Porcupine Lake Campground.
