| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Shertz Trail in Bonner County, Idaho is a perfect place for getting out. Get drenched paddling on Kootenai, and camping is available at Porcupine Lake Campground. Shertz Trail gets very little precipitation; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
This is such a great river. Whitewater paddling is great on Pack River, and camping at Island View Trailer Resort is always a good experience.

Shertz Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shertz Trail.
