  You'll have to go far from Blackfoot to get to Snowbank Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. While visiting this area in Idaho it's a good idea to go hiking too. Hey, time for a hike donít you think? Snowbank Trail in Custer County, Idaho is the outdoors at it's best.
There are many hiking trails in the Lemhi Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Meadow Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Timber Creek
    Pass is close by, and is a good place. Be careful coming to the Lemhi Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Slide Creek is a delightful stream that is worth taking a look at. Snowbank Trail is a good site to visit
for more than one day, Big Creek Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Visiting Craters Of The Moon National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. At Snowbank Trail you donít see much rain. Throughout June this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Snowbank Trail all through the summertime are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Snowbank Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
