  Stoddard Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it is one of many great trails in this area. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Stoddard Trail in Idaho County, Idaho is just what you need. A short journey to Hancock Rapids is always worthwhile, and Reese Creek is next to Stoddard Trail and is always a delight to have a look at. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area next to Stoddard Trail has to offer.
Stoddard Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Parrot Placer Campground is
    a splendid local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Monumental Creek offers some glorious whitewater. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. If you came to camp Cache Bar Campground is
a delightful site to do that, and why not take a little trip to Stoddard Creek while you're here.
At Stoddard Trail you don’t see much rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Idaho is a great outdoors state. Ouzel Rapids is always fun to check out, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Panther Creek.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Stoddard Trail. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down
 
into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Stoddard Trail. In the Salmon River Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
