Hiking in Idaho is such a great thing to do. Little Sage Hen Basin is a wonderful place to check out, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bear Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. If you came for an overnight stay Sage Hen Campground is a perfect site to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork. Sage Hen Basin is a beautiful place any time of year, and Sage Hen Dam has splendid water scenery. All the outdoors exciting     things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Camping is available at Hollywood Point Campground, and of course Joes Creek flows through this area. All through the months of summer here at Telephone Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Telephone Trail overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Telephone Trail. There are many hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. A common amount of rain falls here at Telephone Trail; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
