In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Having a perfect time in the Salmon River Mountains is easy. Payette River - Middle Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and Railroad Pass is close at hand, and is a delightful place. Picnic Point Campground is a pleasant campground here.
