| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Tyndall Ridge Trail in Valley County, Idaho is a perfect place for getting out. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Because Tyndall Ridge Trail is very far from civilization if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. No chance of getting bored in Idaho if you like the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bear Valley Creek, and why not camp at Pen Basin Campground if you're here |
at Tyndall Ridge Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Johnson Creek; a perfect site to camp here at Tyndall Ridge Trail is Blue Point Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Tyndall
| Ridge Trail; throughout January this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the warm days of summer at Tyndall Ridge Trail temperatures are typically in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Tyndall Ridge Trail.
