  You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Waterfall Trail in Lemhi County, Idaho is a really good place to spend some time. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. At Waterfall Trail you don’t see much rain; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Waterfall Trail, and throughout the night it cools down
    to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Waterfall Trail temperatures descend to the 0's.
Camping at Parrot Placer Campground is always a good experience, and whitewater paddling is not for
everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Monumental Creek. Waterfall Trail being so far away from the nearest city hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Salmon River Mountains. Camping is available at Elk Bar Campground, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Camas Creek. South Fork Waterfall Creek is a delightful spot to go to. With so many outdoors activities available in Idaho you'll never get bored.
