Waterfall Trail is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Elk Bar Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and you can run the rapids of Monumental Creek. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. South Fork Waterfall Creek flows through this neighborhood, and there's whitewater on Camas Creek for all you thrill
    seekers.
Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Salmon River Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Parrot Placer Campground is a magnificent local campground. Waterfall Trail is mostly a pretty dried out place; of all the months
in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
Waterfall Trail is a very long way away from civilization and trails like these are great. Summertime at Waterfall Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Waterfall Trail.
