West Side Trail

  This part of Idaho is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Hiking trails are all over the Salmon River Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and West Side Trail in Valley County, Idaho is the outdoors at it's best.
West Side Trail is located quite a long drive from Boise City-Nampa but It's always fun to hike here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend
    Deadwood River. Some nearby water includes South Fork Beaver Creek, and Boise National Forest is a pleasant place. If you came to camp Barneys Park Campground is a delightful place to do that, and Deadwood Basin is a wonderful location
to check out. There's so much to do here at West Side Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Homers Campground is a glorious site for that. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Deadwood River; why not take a little trip to Beaver Creek since you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at West Side Trail. At West Side Trail during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly  
in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while West Side Trail night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. West Side Trail is mostly a quite dried out place. Most of the snow falls through January, and the driest month is July.
