  Hiking here in Idaho is a must. Whitehawk Basin Trail is a trail quite far from Boise City-Nampa but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains, it's a great hiking area.

camp Barneys Park Campground is a fine spot to do that, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Deadwood River. Camping at Homers Campground is always a wonderful experience. Not much rainfall falls here at Whitehawk Basin Trail. The month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summertime months highs here at Whitehawk Basin Trail reach the 90's. For the period of the dark hours  
of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Whitehawk Basin Trail.
