| a lot of fun stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try North Fork Whitehawk Creek; you can stay the night at Homers Campground. All through the warmest time of the year at Whitehawk Trail highs are mostly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Whitehawk Trail tend to be in the 10's. At Whitehawk Trail you don’t see much rainfall; most of the snow falls through January, and July is when it's the driest. | |
