Wilson Creek Trail   I didn't hike this trail myself but someone in our party met us in middle fork by this route,they said the trail fizzles out half way down because it was too close to the stream and the flash floods have washed it out. They did however state that if you are looking for bear that is very possible to locate since they ran into two different ones feeding near the stream. The trail is more like a rock trail as you get nearer to the Middle fork. Seems sad to think about     it now since we are only 50 years away from the time that folks were packing in and farming on the alluvial grades of the middle fork. Says dave ekins Idaho is a great outdoors state. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Wilson Creek Trail in Valley County, Idaho is such a great place. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. A long drive separates Boise City-Nampa from Wilson Creek Trail, but it is a really good trail. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Cascade State Park is a great location to camp. Take a little spree to Bed Ground Creek since you're here at Wilson Creek Trail; Water's   Edge RV Resort is a good campground nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Payette River - North Fork.
