dave ekins: I didn't hike this trail myself but someone in our party met us in middle fork by this route,they said the trail fizzles out half way down because it was too close to the stream and the flash floods have washed it out. They did however state that if you are looking for bear that is very possible to locate since they ran into two different ones feeding near the stream. The trail is more like a rock trail as you get nearer to the Middle fork. Seems sad to think about it now since we are only 50 years away from the time that folks were packing in and farming on the alluvial grades of the middle fork.

Wilson Creek Trail is pretty dried up frequently; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. the 0's. Payette River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Can’t wait to get out in nature, if you happen to be in Valley County of Idaho, Wilson Creek Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. So many fun things in the Salmon River
| Mountains, just inspiring. A delightful site to camp here at Wilson Creek Trail is Lake Cascade State Park, and a visit to Greenfield Flat revitalizes the soul. Many miles from the nearest city you have Wilson Creek Trail and hiking it is great fun any time. No chance of getting bored in Idaho if you like the outdoors. There's some flowing water close by, Bed Ground Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here, and Stewarts Meadow is a nice location to check out. This is a great river. Camping is available at Water's Edge RV Resort, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork. | |
