Yellow Belly Trail

  Pretty far from Mountain Home you find Yellow Belly Trail but hiking it is always fun. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Custer County of Idaho, Yellow Belly Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Idaho has so much to offer nature lovers. There are many hiking trails in the Sawtooth Range, it's a great hiking area.
Visit Vat Creek if you're here at Yellow Belly Trail, and camping at Smoky Bear Campground
    is always a tremendous experience. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawtooth Range. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River; camping is available at Alturas Inlet Campground. Get wet
paddling on Salmon River; as expected Alturas Lake Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. People from Ketchum love to come to Yellow Belly Trail; you can take a little visit to Yellow Belly Lake Fish Barrier Dam while you're here at Yellow Belly Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Challis National Forest is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit. Yellow Belly Trail is pretty dry generally. The  
month with most of the snow is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Yellow Belly Trail during the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Yellow Belly Trail.
