  If you are in Illinois during hiking season you have to go hiking. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Adams County of Illinois, Crabapple Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Crabapple Trail is in a quite desolate area and hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. All through the summertime here at Crabapple Trail, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in
    the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Crabapple Trail dip into the 10's.
Very good water scenery is available at Siloam Springs Lake Dam in the vicinity of Crabapple Trail. Crabapple Trail is a good location of typical precipitation; of
all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came to camp Pine Grove Campground is a good location to do that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Fishhook Creek.
There's so much to do here at Crabapple Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Ridge Campground is a delightful site for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Fall Creek. Getting to Crabapple Creek from Crabapple Trail is easy; a visit to Siloam Springs will fill your soul with great feelings.
