Kansas is a great place for hikers. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Santa Fe Trail in Johnson County, Kansas is just what you need. Eightyone Pasture is a striking place any time of year, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Elkhart. A splendid spot to camp here at Santa Fe Trail is Cimarron River Campground, and Yoder
    Pasture is a magnificent location to stretch your legs a bit. This ski area has it all. Camping is available at Cimmaron #1. High temperatures at Santa Fe Trail during the summertime are in the 90's, and through the night it cools
down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; night lows at Santa Fe Trail through the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 10's. Santa Fe Trail gets very little rain. The wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
