Buck Trail

  In the Cumberland Plateau Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. A long drive separates Mount Sterling from Buck Trail, but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Buck Trail in Wolfe County, Kentucky is a good choice.
No chance of getting bored in Kentucky if you like the outdoors. Getting to Right Fork Chimney Top Creek from Buck Trail is uncomplicated; you
    can stay the night at Middle Fork Campground. And that's not all there is to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Red River, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Pine
Ridge for sure. You positively must visit Natural Bridge State Park while you're here at Buck Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Chimney Top Creek. Pinch-Em Tight Gap is in the neighborhood of Buck Trail and is a fine location. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Buck Trail has to offer, you can camp at Whittleton Campground. And that's not all you can do here at Buck Trail. Buck Trail commonly gets a large amount of rain. July is  
when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. The warmest time of the year at Buck Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Buck Trail tend to be in the 10's.
