Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Kentucky has lots of outdoors activities. Buck Trail is a relatively wet place mostly with lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls during July while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. If you're     here, you might as well stop by Pinch-Em Tight Gap, and needless to say Chimney Top Creek flows through this area. There's so much to do here at Buck Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Fork Campground is a good place for that; whitewater paddling is glorious on Red River. Throughout the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Buck Trail while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Buck Trail. There are plenty of folks from Mount Sterling here at Buck Trail. Buck Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Whittleton Campground is a good local campground; a quick trip to Right Fork Chimney Top Creek is absolutely a nice idea.
