  This part of Kentucky is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. In the Cumberland Plateau Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Just can't get enough of Cane Creek Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Bee Rock Campground is a great site to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Laurel River.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Cane Creek Trail a wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. All year
    is a magnificent time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Rockcastle Campground is a good local campground; if you're dropping by from London, you won't be the only one. Some close by water includes Cane Creek, and you could always explore The Narrows.
Cane Creek Trail is not very near London at all but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Getting to Lick Branch from Cane Creek Trail is uncomplicated, and glide down the rapids of Rockcastle River in a kayak.
Summer at Cane Creek Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Cane Creek Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Cane Creek Trail in Laurel County, Kentucky is just what you need.
