Coming to this river is always a good idea. Why not camp at The Outpost Campground since you're here at Cross Over Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Trough Lick Branch.
Since you're here at Cross Over Trail why not stop at Tram Road Hollow, and if you came for an overnight stay Buckskin Run Camper Park is a good location to camp. For the
    duration of the days of summer at Cross Over Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cross Over Trail. Pretty far from Mount Sterling
