Double Arch Trail is a long drive away from Mount Sterling but when you hike it you're always having a good time. There's some flowing water nearby, Rocky Branch is a stream you can visit while you're here. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Double Arch Trail in Powell County, Kentucky is a perfect place for getting out.

and soar down the rapids of Red River in a kayak. All year is a nice time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Shed Hollow is in the vicinity of Double Arch Trail and is absolutely a great place to check out, and at Double Arch Trail you always meet someone

Auxier Branch is near Double Arch Trail and is always a joy to go to; Whittleton Campground is a good campground here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Double Arch Trail a wet place; through July this area sees the most rain while October is mostly the driest month. This part of Kentucky is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.
At Double Arch Trail during the summertime months highs are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Double Arch Trail night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. | |
