  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Grays Arch Trail in Powell County, Kentucky is a great place to go. You'll have to go far from Mount Sterling to get to Grays Arch Trail but It's always fun to hike here. Take a side tour to Landsome Branch. There are some great whitewater spots on Red River, and of course Rush Branch is a stunning stream that is worth checking out.
Pinch-Em Tight Gap is a magnificent spot to stop by close by, and camping is available at Middle Fork Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the
    enjoyable stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. People from Mount Sterling love to come to Grays Arch Trail; a brilliant location to camp here at Grays Arch Trail is Whittleton Campground.
Grays Arch Trail mostly gets lots of precipitation; July is the month that gets
the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Throughout the summertime at Grays Arch Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Grays Arch Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
While visiting this area in Kentucky it's a good idea to go hiking too.
