in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Pine Mountain Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This river is so perfect. Shelby Gap is a nice place to look
| at, and why not pop by White Oak Creek Dam since you're here. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Pine Mountain Trail in Letcher County, Kentucky is such a great place. There's so much to do here at Pine Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cane Patch Campground is a good spot for that. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Pound River, and a quick tour to Cane Branch is positively a good idea. Doubles Branch flows through this vicinity; you can stay the night at Laurel Fork Campground. | |
