Rockcastle Narrows Trail   This is a great moderately to strenuous trail with three points of attack. I suggest that you begin at the trailhead near the bathrooms in the camping area. It is uphill for the first 30 or 40 mins but you go through a cave, experience a cool waterfall and see mature hemlocks. Then there is a great view to the left of the trail at the top of the climb. Return now back to the trail and it is all rolling, flat or downhill to the Rockcastle River. You will see more     waterfalls, copper stained rocks and a rock house. Going down you will follow the wild river to the narrows. Get off the trail and experience the hugh rocks, water and tranquility. You will procede to the two pools on the river referred to as the big and little dickie. More quiet walking, a turkey, squirrel and palisades on your right as you head to the point of the beginning, your car. I rate this trail as an overall 7.0 on a scale of 1 to 10.
