| | Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a long drive away from Pittsfield but hiking it is great fun any time. Massachusetts is a good place for outdoors people. Red Oak Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting, and Goodrich Hollow is also a delightful spot to look at. Why not camp at Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites since you're here at Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some pleasant whitewater. Glide down the rapids of Green River in a kayak, and Lulu Cascade is always fun to check out. |
If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. The cheerful folks of Pittsfield like to hang out close by. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Brickhouse Mountain Trail reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it
| descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Brickhouse Mountain Trail descend into the 10's. A wonderful place to camp here at Brickhouse Mountain Trail is Privacy Campground, and Pittsfield State Forest is a splendid local forest. Brickhouse Mountain Trail gets a good deal of water; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
