| | This part of Massachusetts is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Since you're here at County Road Trail why not go to The Gorge; Springfield Water Works Intake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. For the duration of the warm months at County Road Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at County Road Trail temperatures descend to the 0's.

| Sodom Brook flows through this neighborhood; let's not forget Pitcher Brook which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. County Road Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Paddling on Little River is so much fun; Prospect Mountain Campground is a great local campground.
