| | Elbow Trail is located quite a long drive from Pittsfield but it is one of many great trails in this area. During the months of summer highs here at Elbow Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Elbow Trail. So many cool things in the neighborhood of Elbow Trail, truly astonishing. A delightful location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Elbow Trail is Housatonic River.

Brook close to Elbow Trail, and a short visit to Race Brook Falls is always worthwhile. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Guilder Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Elbow Trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here. Near Elbow Trail you hit upon great spots
| like Guilder Hollow. There's so much to do here at Elbow Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a magnificent place for that.
Elbow Trail gets a normal amount of rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Race Brook is a wonderful local stream, and if you came to camp Camp Waubeeka is a glorious location to do that. Hiking in Massachusetts is such a great thing to do.
