It's a long drive from Barnstable Town to Fort Hill Trail but it is a great escape from the city. Not far from Fort Hill Trail you get some splendid water scenery at Nauset Harbor, and camping at Atlantic Oaks RV Park is always a tremendous experience. Snow Point is quite next to Fort Hill Trail, and on a beautiful day you can stop by Coast Guard Beach. A day at pretty Nauset Beach close to Fort Hill Trail is a glorious     thing to do, and you'll meet a lot of people from Barnstable Town here. Through the long summer days highs here at Fort Hill Trail get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Fort Hill Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Cape Cod National Seashore is a magnificent spot near Fort Hill Trail, and camping is available at Massasoit Hills Trailer Park. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place!
