All through the summer at Snavelys Ford Trail highs are regularly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Snavelys Ford Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.

There's whitewater on Potomac River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a tour to Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail is recommended. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Snavelys Ford Trail. A short spree to Sharpsburg Spring is always worthwhile.
