  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Abol Trail in Piscataquis County, Maine is a perfect place for getting out. Abol Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Abol Trail. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Abol Trail tend to be in the-10's.
A tremendous place to explore in the vicinity of Abol Trail is Witherle
    Ravine, and paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River is so much fun. A short spree to Katahdin Falls is always worthwhile, and camping is available at Chimney Pond Campground. Abol Trail is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain;
the driest of the months is February.
If you came for an overnight stay Roaring Brook Campground is a great location to camp. Get wet paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream; Katahdin Stream Falls is an inspiring spot to stop by while you're here.
