  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Oxford County, Maine is a great place to go. Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a trail quite far from Augusta-Waterville but hiking it is always fun. Lots of people from Augusta-Waterville come to Appalachian National Scenic Trail. If you came to camp Camp Laurel is a wonderful place to do that, and not far from Appalachian National Scenic Trail you obtain some fine water scenery at Mill Pond Dam.
Whitewater paddling is magnificent
    on Sandy River, and swing by Mill Stream it's a good place to stop by. Summertime highs at Appalachian National Scenic Trail generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's
for Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Appalachian National Scenic Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; November is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest.
There's so much to do here at Appalachian National Scenic Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Five Seasons Campground is a wonderful place for that, and get dripping wet paddling on Wilson Stream.
