| | A visit to Maine is not complete without some hiking. Hadlock Upper Dam has nice water scenery and it's next to Asticou Trail, and why not have a look at close by Little Harbor Brook if you're here at Asticou Trail. Not far from Asticou Trail you hit upon Northeast Harbor, and don't leave Asticou Trail without first paying a visit to Hadlock Falls.

than a day at, Mt Desert Campground is a good local campground. Hunters Beach is close to Asticou Trail if you're in a beach type of mood; the vistas at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. At Asticou Trail throughout the summertime highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down
| it falls down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Asticou Trail.
Amphitheater Valley is a stunning site any time of year, and if you're here why not explore Long Pond Shoal. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Gilley Beach; paddling on Union River is so much fun.
Get covered with water paddling on Branch Lake Stream. Asticou Trail regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain while August is usually the driest month. If you came to camp Camp Store is a great site to do that, and Birch Spring is an inspiring site to pop by while you're here.
