Get drenched paddling on Narraguagus River - West Branch. Camping at Spruce Valley Campground is always a brilliant experience, and some of the water close by flows, like Cromwell Brook.
Bar Island Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Barcadia Campground is a brilliant local campground; beaches are nice and Sand Beach is no exception. And if you're still looking
    for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Paddling on Union River is so much fun, and a pleasant place nearby is Bald Rock Ledge.
A tour to Acadia National Park is recommended; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Marlboro Beach. Why not check out
Uncle Steves Point also while you're here; Sieur de Monts Spring is always fun to check out. Summertime highs at Bar Island Trail frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bar Island Trail temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Bar Island Trail is close to The Tarn Dam which is a delightful place absolutely worth stopping at, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Eddie Brook. The high level of precipitation makes Bar Island Trail a rather wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is August.
