  While visiting this area in Maine it's a good idea to go hiking too. So many exciting things next to Bar Island Trail, truly phenomenal. Cromwell Brook is a magnificent site to visit, and Barcadia Campground is a great campground nearby. Sieur de Monts Spring is a tremendous local attraction, and a day at Sand Beach is time well spent.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Union River, and during your stay here do check out nearby Marlboro Beach. The high level of rainfall makes Bar Island Trail a pretty
    wet place; November is the wettest month with most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Bar Island Trail in Hancock County, Maine is such a great place.
Summertime highs at Bar Island Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's while
