  A visit to Maine is not complete without some hiking. Beech Cliff Ladder Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is a really good trail.

Beech Cliff Ladder Trail ordinarily gets lots of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get dripping wet paddling on Branch Lake Stream; a short tour to Lurvey Spring is always worthwhile.
