  Because Beech Cliff Loop is very far from civilization what a great place for hiking it is. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Union River; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Cobble Beach. A good deal of rain falls at Beech Cliff Loop; during November this area sees the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest.
Throughout the warm days of summer here at Beech Cliff Loop, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly
    in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beech Cliff Loop. There's some flowing water close by, Man of War Brook is a stream you can go to while you're here; dropping by Acadia National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
If you come
at the right time of year, Blue Hill Falls offers some brilliant whitewater; Great Notch is a fine spot to explore. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Beech Cliff Loop. Don't leave Beech Cliff Loop without first paying a visit to Lurvey Spring, and Echo Lake Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. Stay the night at White Birches Campground, and Denning Brook is close to Beech Cliff Loop and is always a pleasure to take a look at.
A spree to Man O'War Brook Falls will fill your spirit with great feelings;
 
Echo Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Smuggler's Den Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and a trip to nearby Ikes Point is very relaxing. Hiking here in Maine is a must.
