  In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Maine is a great place for hikers. Brook Trail is very far from the nearest big city and you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
Brook Trail gets a normal amount of yearly rain; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Brook Trail through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through
    the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Brook Trail. Camping at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is always a glorious experience, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Swift River.
If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains.
A nice place to camp here at Brook Trail is Dummer's Beach, and there are some good whitewater spots on Sandy River. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Franklin County of Maine, Brook Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
