Chimney Trail

If you are in Maine during hiking season you have to go hiking. In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Chimney Trail is a long drive away from Lewiston-Auburn but when you hike it you're always having a good time.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Chimney Trail in Franklin County, Maine is a great place to go. There's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline
junkies, and the good folks of Roxbury like to hang out close by. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a magnificent time. If you came to camp Dummer's Beach is a good place to do that, and a splendid site like Mt. Blue State
Park is too splendid to leave out. There's so much to do here at Chimney Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a pleasant location for that. Near Chimney Trail you locate tremendous sites like Byron Notch; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Swift River. Summer at Chimney Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration
of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Chimney Trail tend to be in the-10's. From a rain point of view Chimney Trail is a rather typical site. Through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
