Cliff Trail

Cliff Trail is a trail quite far from Rockland but it is a good trail. Middle Ledges is in the neighborhood of Cliff Trail and is a magnificent location; camping at Duck Harbor Campground is always a great experience. Here at Cliff Trail you'll perhaps meet some people from Matinicus, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Goss Beach. Merchant Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. Nothing beats kicking back at Boom Beach,
and while you're here, do take a tour to Squeaker Cove. Camping is available at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is Goose Falls. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Cliff
Trail has it all. You can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls in the neighborhood of Cliff Trail. All through the warm days of summer at Cliff Trail highs are frequently in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cliff Trail. The annual rain here at Cliff Trail is about average. November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
