Gorge Path

  Hey, time for a hike donít you think? Gorge Path in Hancock County, Maine is just what you need. It's a delightful idea to stop by Canon Brook, it's close to Gorge Path It's always nice to have a look at Sieur de Monts Spring. Why not visit The Tarn Dam if you're here, and the vistas at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Union River, and Hunters Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type of mood. If you're here
    at Gorge Path, you could take a look at Kebo Brook, and The Featherbed is a good location to stretch your legs a bit. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Gorge Path, just extraordinary. If you came to camp Somes Sound
View Campground is a good place to do that, and do schedule some time to pop by Cromwell Cove if you have a chance. There's so much to do here at Gorge Path that you need to camp here for a while, Bar Harbor Campground is a wonderful place for that. People from Bar Harbor love to come to Gorge Path, and obviously, everyone loves Lamoine State Park. On a nice day it's a glorious idea to spend the day at Sand Beach, and if you come at the right time of year, Branch  
Lake Stream offers some fine whitewater. Gorge Path commonly gets a great deal of rainfall. The wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is August. For the period of the days of summer at Gorge Path highs are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
