Grandgent Trail

Grandgent Trail is a long drive away from Bangor but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Maine is a great place for hikers. You'll meet a lot of folks from Northeast Harbor here, and why not camp at Camp Store if you're here at Grandgent Trail. Places like Southwest Valley are perfect to stop at, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Branch Lake Stream. Amphitheater Valley is a good spot; Richardson Brook is one of
the streams close by that might be worth going to. Maple Spring is a wonderful site to pop by while you're at Grandgent Trail. Lamoine State Park is worth visiting if you're at Grandgent Trail, and let's not forget Chasm Brook which
is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. You truly have to adore Grandgent Trail. Tumbledown Cove is not far from Grandgent Trail at all, and Mt Desert Campground is a fine local campground. Nothing beats kicking back at Echo Lake Beach, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Union River. A spree to Acadia National Park is recommended, also Hadlock Upper Dam is worth going to if you're here. Hadlock
Falls is a good local attraction, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Hunters Beach. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Grandgent Trail. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
