Hadlock Upper Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out; don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Richardson Brook.
Get drenched paddling on Branch Lake Stream; a trip to Tumbledown Cove is always a pleasant idea. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Grandgent Trail highs are usually in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs

Grandgent
Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Mt Desert Campground is a good local campground. Southwest Valley is a great place, and do stop by Chasm Brook since you're here at Grandgent Trail. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Union River, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are great spots to visit and Acadia National Park is no exception.
Nothing beats kicking back at Echo Lake Beach, and a trip to Amphitheater Valley invigorates the soul. All the water falling down from the sky makes Grandgent Trail a wet place; November is the wettest

month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Maple Spring. There's so much to do here at Grandgent Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Store is a wonderful location for that.
