  Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Great Notch Trail in Hancock County, Maine is the outdoors at it's best. Maine has so much to offer nature lovers. Why not camp at White Birches Campground while you're here at Great Notch Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Great Brook. Blue Hill Falls has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Union River, and Carter Cove is in the vicinity and always delightful to explore. This river is
    so wonderful. Echo Lake Beach is near Great Notch Trail and is a striking beach to take a look at; swing by Heath Brook it's a great location to have a look at.
Great Notch Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is November; August meanwhile
is the driest month. At Great Notch Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Great Notch Trail throughout the winter generally drop into the 10's. A magnificent site in the vicinity of Great Notch Trail is Great Notch, and you have to beyond doubt have a look at pretty Cobble Beach if you're here.
