  If you are in Maine during hiking season you have to go hiking. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Harbor Trail, too great to be true. Long Ledge is right next door to Harbor Trail and is beyond doubt a splendid place to visit. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Harbor Trail in Hancock County, Maine is such a great place.
If you're looking for a beach close to Harbor Trail, we recommend Echo Lake Beach, and a delightful spot to camp here at Harbor Trail is Seawall Campground. If you haven’t
    been to Acadia National Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here; camping is available at Bass Harbor Campground. You can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls right next door to Harbor Trail, and nothing beats kicking back at Cobble Beach.
Much rainfall falls at
Harbor Trail; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is August. This river has so much to offer. Do schedule some time to take a look at Bennet Cove in the vicinity of Harbor Trail if you have a chance; a good location for whitewater paddling is Union River. During the summertime at Harbor Trail highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Harbor Trail temperatures drop to the 10's.
