Hardy Pond Trail

  It's a long drive from Bangor to Hardy Pond Trail but it is a great escape from the city. South Branch Lake Camp is a good campground nearby; get soaked paddling on Schoodic Stream. Hardy Pond Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, King's Trailer Park is a good place to camp nearby. Looking for some flowing water? Try Scutaze Stream, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Lagrange for sure. Some of the water nearby flows, like Schoodic
    Stream; paddling on Piscataquis River is so much fun. Summertime highs at Hardy Pond Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's,
